MEET THE FOUNDERS
Ren and Bea are the heart behind **Project BP Rescue** — two dedicated Baldwin Park networkers who turned years of advocacy, volunteering, and hands-on rescue work into a rescue of their own.
Ren has been involved in rescue for quite some time and was raised in a family full of rescue dogs, so helping animals has always been a part of her life. From a young age, she understood the impact that love, patience, and second chances can have on a dog who has been overlooked, abandoned, or misunderstood.
Bea has served as both a volunteer and networker for years, dedicating her time, energy, and heart to helping shelter dogs get seen and saved. Her passion for rescue runs deep, and her commitment to the dogs has always been rooted in compassion, consistency, and action.
Together, Ren and Bea connected through their shared love for the Baldwin Park dogs. They quickly realized that the way they think, the way they advocate, and the way they approach saving dogs aligned. Both believe rescue is not just about pulling a dog from the shelter — it is about making sure that dog has the right plan, the right support, and the best possible chance at a safe and successful future.
**Project BP Rescue is dedicated to Baldwin Park dogs.** Our mission is to work specifically with dogs from Baldwin Park Animal Care Center who are at risk, overlooked, misunderstood, or in need of a second chance. We focus our efforts on helping these dogs get seen, saved, and placed into loving foster or forever homes.
As networkers, Ren and Bea have spent countless hours sharing urgent dogs, coordinating with fosters, communicating with rescues, and helping create pathways out of the shelter. Starting Project BP Rescue was the next step in that mission — a way to continue advocating for Baldwin Park dogs with even more intention, structure, and dedication.
At the heart of this rescue is a simple belief: every dog deserves to be seen, every dog deserves a chance, and every Baldwin Park dog we take on deserves commitment from beginning to end.
